Here are a group of sites that have given the band support or the years or are sites we like because they'll tell you more about our home town and the South Burnett region we live in. We hope you have fun with them too:
The Barkers Creek Bush Band are headquartered in Nanango, the second biggest town in the South Burnett. If you've never visited the South Burnett before - or even if you have - our regional portal is the single best guide to what's on, who's where, and when. Absolutely amazing...

The Nanango Show Society operate the Nanango Showgrounds and oversee the many activities that occur there throughout the year. These include the Nanango Markets, the Nanango Campdraft, the Nanango Country Music Muster and many, many other music events and festivals (including several that we've performed at over the years)

South Burnett Tourism maintain an up-to-date listing of all the tourist facilities in Nanango, and it's very handy to consult if you're ever planning a visit to our home town. It will show you where to stay, where to eat, what to see and do, and gives you a quick snapshot of what Nanango's actually like.

Heritage House at Yarraman is the home of the Yarraman Historical Society and Heritage House is also a major tourist attraction. Heritage House - like Ringsfield in Nanango - stage many community events during the course of each year and The Barkers Creek Bush Band have performed there on many occasions. We like them!

The South Burnett maintains its own online business database, and we're listed in there along with thousands of other businesses and community groups (Biz lists all businesses, whether they have a web site or not). So if you ever forget our domain or other contact details, this is a quick way to look us up fast.

The South Burnett has an extensive wine industry and if you're interested in great wines you can find our a lot more about our region's wineries, cellar doors and upcoming wine-related events on the South Burnett Wine website.

The South Burnett is an agricultural area and is almost as fertile as the Darling Downs. Our farmers produce everything from Japanese Wagyu beef cattle through to peanuts and feijoas, and South Burnett Cuisine talks about local wines and foods and how you can eat, drink and be merry with them!
